Comic: A Man of Consonant Sorrow

This is Pi Day #032

It was an emotional wedding, too… even the cake was in tiers.

It’s 2018 and this year I resolved to share more puns.

For example, the New Year’s resolution of this week’s comic is 1200 by 1200 pixels.

This week’s comic also happens to be a terrible pun, and while this exact conversation may not have occurred verbatim, the reaction of those involved are portrayed in way that inspired its drawing. It also inspires the Kid to take her father a little less seriously every time he opens his mouth.

Comic: Bad Hair Day Joke

This is Pi Day #024

Did you get a hair cut?
No…. I got them ALL cut.

I’ve been aiming for a kind of universality in my comics. Y’know… parenting moments that are relate-able. Quirks you can empathize with or see yourself projected into.

This week is a little less so perhaps, and is brought to you exclusively from the mind of The Girl, who upon “outsmarting” her Dad in real life, thwarting his tried-and-true dad joke material said (in what could be the fifth frame of this comic) “you should draw a comic about this…”

So I did.

Check out this post on the blueberry pi site, too.
